Symetra is seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Data Analytics to lead the Life Division's analytics strategy, partnering with business and technology leaders to turn data into insights that drive growth and improve outcomes.

You will manage high-impact analytics initiatives, mentor data scientists, and communicate complex findings to executives with clarity, building trusted relationships across the organization in a remote-friendly, hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with business leaders and cross-functional partners to understand priorities and decision-making needs.
• Translate complex questions into analytical hypotheses and measurable outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end analytics projects, including data sourcing, exploration, modeling, implementation, and measurement.
• Communicate findings clearly to executive audiences and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Mentor data scientists and analysts and promote analytical excellence across the organization.
