Job summary

jobgether is seeking a Head of Data in the United States to lead the data function end-to-end and drive measurable business outcomes. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across data strategy, engineering, analytics, reporting, attribution, and governance.

You will oversee data systems, establish governance and semantic definitions, and collaborate with CEO and senior leadership to translate insights into actionable business decisions.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in data/analytics with leadership experience.
• Hands-on SQL and modern cloud DW in last 2 years.
• Proven data modeling with dbt, Dataform, or equivalent.
• Regular use of AI tools with quality controls.
• Ability to translate analytics into clear business decisions.
• Experience making build-vs-buy decisions and reducing costs.

Responsibilities

• Own data strategy and roadmap, aligned with revenue and operations.
• Lead data warehouse, pipelines, and transformations (GCP, BigQuery, Dataform).
• Oversee dashboards, reporting, and analytics infrastructure.
• Develop reliable attribution and measurement capabilities with Marketing.
• Partner with Finance to reconcile orders and revenue across systems.
• Lead a small data team, while contributing technically (SQL, modeling).
