Job summary

Kalon Executive Search is seeking a Head of D2C to own end-to-end D2C performance and drive aggressive revenue targets. This remote East Coast–hour role partners with marketing, lifecycle teams, and external agencies to optimize the customer journey and scale the business.

You will lead a hands-on, scrappy, high-growth team, ensuring a pixel-perfect e-commerce experience on Shopify and collaboration with CRO and Amazon partners. This is a strategic, operational leadership role with strong impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in D2C e-commerce leadership roles with revenue growth.
• CPG industry experience and go-to-market expertise.
• Hands-on Shopify management for performance and CX.
• Thrives in a high-growth startup, lean operations.
• Strong leadership of direct reports and agencies.
• Data-driven decision making and cross-functional communication.
• Highly organized with meticulous execution.
• Able to translate strategy into scalable actions.

Responsibilities

• Own D2C performance, revenue targets, and growth.
• Lead end-to-end website execution (Shopify) and UX quality.
• Oversee daily e-commerce operations for efficiency and improvements.
• Inspire and manage the e-commerce team and external partners.
• Coordinate with agencies (development, CRO, Amazon) for timely delivery.
• Partner with marketing to optimize paid channels and traffic.
• Collaborate with lifecycle teams on email/SMS/CRM strategies.
• Identify opportunities and scale processes across D2C.
