The Associated Press is seeking a hands-on, strategic Director of Cyber Engineering to lead security engineering across product security, infrastructure and cloud security. Reporting to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity, this senior leadership role will guide a growing team and translate security strategy into scalable platforms and practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security engineering or related fields.
• 4+ years of team leadership.
• Experience across product, cloud, infrastructure, or network security.
• Strong communication with senior leadership.
• Experience with security automation and IaC.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute security engineering roadmap across products, infrastructure, cloud and network.
• Lead security architecture standards and reference designs.
• Advance zero trust and secure-by-default infrastructure.
• Review architecture and guide engineering teams.
• Foster a security-focused culture across Technology and business units.
