Job summary

CHANEL is seeking a Group Director, Cyber Risk & Security Engineering to lead governance and security engineering initiatives in a hybrid New York area role. You will report to the Head of Information Security and drive risk-based security programs across the enterprise.

The role requires deep expertise in cloud security, threat modeling, and security operations, with strong leadership and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in cyber engineering across cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise security solutions and governance.
• Strong risk assessment, remediation and awareness programs across large orgs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize cyber risks and guide remediation decisions.
• Lead integration of security controls across digital and physical environments with engineering teams.
• Translate technical risks into actionable requirements and secure operational behaviors.
• Build scalable security awareness programs driving measurable behavior change.
• Oversee identity and access governance reducing business friction while ensuring security.
