Qualifikationen

• FAA‑certified pilot with current credentials and flight experience in corporate aviation.
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in aviation operations, ideally corporate.
• Proven mentoring and coaching ability to elevate team performance.
• Strong business and financial management skills.
• Excellent executive communication and presence.
• In‑depth FARs knowledge and aviation standards.
• Continuous improvement mindset with problem‑solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Plan, direct, and lead all flight department operations and strategy.
• Oversee aircraft maintenance, safety readiness, and hangar facilities.
• Hire, train, and supervise pilots, maintenance, and admin staff; mentor teams.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, ICAO, and internal policies; lead safety audits.
• Communicate complex aviation issues in business terms to senior leadership.
• Manage aircraft scheduling, logistics, and customer service oversight.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets for the aviation dept.
