Cogent Security is seeking a founding content leader to define the voice, tone, and editorial standards across all content. You will shape executive storytelling, turn product insights into compelling narratives, and drive impact with an AI-enabled production engine.

You’ll ghostwrite for the CEO and CTO, build repeatable material capture systems, and ensure content travels—from social to long-form assets—driving pipeline and awareness in cybersecurity.

Formación

• 8-10+ years in content roles in B2B tech, with cybersecurity strongly preferred.
• A track record of content that moved real numbers: pipeline, organic traffic and engagement that led to meetings.
• Experience shipping weekly at a small team with minimal budget or external strategy.
• Excellent writing and editorial judgment; ability to articulate a point of view on complex security topics.
• Proven ghostwriting for executives and a system for capturing leadership voice.
• Fluent with AI in the content workflow and able to explain the workflow you built.

Responsabilidades

• Own Cogent's content engine end to end: calendar and content series across LinkedIn-first social, blog, video, and long-form.
• Own SEO and AEO so the work is found by buyers and by models shaping discovery.
• Tie content to pipeline and analyze which pieces move deals; optimize accordingly.
• Write top- and middle-of-funnel content: blog posts, ebooks, whitepapers.
• Own the social strategy with regular series and timely posts to maintain Cogent's point of view.
• Ghostwrite for the CEO, CTO, and tech leaders with a strong, consistent voice.
• Build repeatable systems to capture raw material (interviews, Slack mining, notes, briefs).
• Turn raw material into thought leadership that practitioners read and share.
• Turn Cogent Research, threat findings, and product insight into original analysis that travels and generates pipeline.
• Own the flagship research report and programs around it with the research team and CTO.
• React quickly when security news breaks with timely POV pieces.
• Use AI across the workflow and orchestrate contractors and tools to scale while maintaining voice.
