Job summary

Viridan Group is seeking a field-first Construction Leader to own delivery of large-scale solar and battery storage projects across North America. You will lead multi-state, multi-project execution from groundbreaking through COD, building repeatable systems and partnering with EPCs to hit schedule, cost, and safety targets.

You will report to the COO, manage field teams, drive safety culture, and communicate progress to lenders and asset owners.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in construction or project leadership within utility-scale power generation or renewables.
• Track record delivering solar PV projects 100 MW+ from notice to proceed to COD.
• Strong EPC contract, change orders, and cost control experience.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% across the country.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day delivery across a multi-state portfolio: budget, schedule, safety, and quality.
• Enforce EPC contract terms and manage change orders, knowing when to push.
• Own safety culture with audits, incident investigations, and root-cause follow-through.
• Lead commissioning and punch-list closeout through to COD handoff to asset management.
• Track cost and schedule in detail; communicate progress to leadership, lenders, and partners.
