Job summary

OKX is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance and MLRO to lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive AML/CFT program for a crypto exchange and wallet ecosystem. You will act as the primary regulatory liaison, oversee STRs and sanctions, and drive governance across the organization.

You will build a compliance culture, scale policies, and partner with Legal, Product, and Marketing to embed compliant processes from the ground up, reporting to the Board on progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business or related field; postgraduate beneficial.
• Professional certification in compliance or AML strongly preferred (e.g. CAMS, ICA, CFE).
• Experience leading compliance programs in VASP/crypto environments is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Act as MLRO with full responsibility for AML/CFT framework.
• Oversee transaction monitoring, STRs, and sanctions screening.
• Design and implement a scalable regulatory compliance program for crypto offerings.
• Engage regulators and provide regulatory input on products and partnerships.
• Build and lead governance, training, and reporting to the Board.
