Job summary
OKX is seeking an experienced compliance leader to become Head of Compliance and MLRO, building a comprehensive program from the ground up. You will partner with Legal, Product, and Marketing to embed a strong compliance culture and oversee AML/CFT, KYC, CDD/EDD, and sanctions screening across the organisation.
The role requires deep knowledge of FATF guidelines, experience in crypto regulation, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in compliance, AML, or financial crime prevention, with leadership exposure.
- In-house experience with VASP, crypto exchanges, fintechs, or regulated finance.
- Experience as MLRO or Deputy MLRO is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Regulatory engagement with authorities and boards.
- Design, implement, and govern a global compliance framework for VASPs.
- Lead AML/CFT, KYC, CDD/EDD, sanctions, data protection, and cyber compliance.
- Build governance structures, risk registers, and reporting to senior management.
- Drive compliant product design and cross-functional collaboration.
