Job summary

Klaviyo in the United States is seeking a Head of Compensation (Head of Comp) to design and own our compensation architecture and multi-year equity model. This role partners with Finance and Leadership to craft a scalable approach that supports growth and rewards performance.

You'll drive strategic levers, build a transparent pay story for talent, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Legal on equity, transparency, and regulatory considerations across US locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in compensation with ownership of strategy and structure at a growth-stage company.
• Experience rebuilding or overhauling a comp function or framework.
• Fluency with modern comp tools and data sources and hands-on usage.
• Track record designing defensible, explainable, equitable compensation.
• Skilled at tense conversations and aligning with Talent Acquisition, Finance, and leaders.
• Experience with pay transparency practices and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the comp architecture from the ground up.
• Model multi-year equity, refresh grants, and dilution.
• Partner with Finance and leadership on sustainable compensation strategy.
• Provide strategic partnership during hard com conversations and offers.
