The leader will drive local execution of global plans, coordinate with Sales, Legal, and Product Marketing, and manage an editorial loans program to maximize coverage opportunities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in PR.
• Experience leading media relations for a global organization in consumer/corporate PR.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to drive strategic Corporate Communication and PR initiatives for Apple in Latin America and the US Hispanic market.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across regions to implement global communications plans locally.
• Manage crisis and reactive PR with poise and timely media responses.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists across the region.
• Oversee launch campaigns, momentum programs and editoral loan initiatives for local markets.
• Ensure alignment of product marketing messages in press tours and briefings.
