Qualifications

• 8+ years in public relations, corporate communications, or journalism; 3+ years in-house PR preferred.
• Proven track record building relationships across consumer tech, lifestyle, entertainment, or culture media.
• Experience managing external PR agencies and collaborating with international teams.
• BS/BA in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage relationships with media, digital creators, and cultural influencers across tech, lifestyle, entertainment, music, and sports.
• Develop PR strategy and earned media tactics for product launches and brand moments.
• Draft press materials, product messaging, media pitches, executive briefs, and keynote presentations.
• Lead execution of press and creator events from intimate briefings to large experiential moments.
• Collaborate with Beats and Apple teams to support launches and momentum strategies.
• Coordinate with international PR teams and external agencies for global alignment and flawless execution.
• Monitor and report earned media coverage, media value, and trends to leadership.
• Deliver on-strategy, on-time work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Seek creative, non-traditional ways to amplify Beats narrative across platforms and creator networks.
