The Director partners with the Commercial Lines Manager and business leaders to ensure underwriting consistency, operational effectiveness, and strong agency relationships,

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute underwriting strategies that support profitable growth, retention, portfolio management, and agency relationship objectives
• Monitor underwriting performance, loss trends, agency results, and market conditions to achieve financial and business goals
• Provide leadership on complex underwriting decisions and portfolio management strategies
• Partner with Sales leadership and agency partners to strengthen relationships and growth opportunities
• Lead, coach, and develop underwriting teams and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with executive leaders to improve underwriting consistency and operational effectiveness
