Job summary

SECURA Insurance Company seeks a Commercial Lines Manager to provide department-wide leadership for workflow improvement, operational efficiency, and underwriting quality governance across Commercial Lines. This role reports to the Vice President of Commercial Lines and partners with Directors to drive process modernization and capacity growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead ideation, development, prioritization, and implementation of workflow improvements.
• Partner with leaders to improve efficiency, consistency, and underwriting capacity.
• Champion modernization, automation, and best practices.
• Measure impact via operational metrics and reporting.
• Lead and develop the Small Business Renewal Underwriting Team.
• Set performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and accountability.
• Monitor productivity, service, retention, and profitability.
• Foster collaboration and customer-focused culture.
• Oversee the commercial lines quality assurance program.
• Direct audits, compliance reviews, and quality assessments.
• Communicate results and actions to VP and Directors; ensure follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
