Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Property & Casualty operations, partnering with regional leadership to drive efficiency and client service excellence.

The role emphasizes standardizing workflows, workforce planning, and strategic advisory across producers, account teams, and operations, with a focus on scalable growth and M&A integration.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Root cause analysis and sustainable process improvements.
• Workforce planning, capacity modeling, resource management.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Commercial Lines strategy with leadership to improve operations and service delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Establish and promote standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Serve as national subject matter expert on Commercial P&C operations and systems.
