Head of Commercial – Digital Behavioral Health

We’re working exclusively with a fast-growing digital behavioral health company that’s tackling the mental health crisis with a clinically grounded, tech-enabled platform. Backed by top-tier investors and proven clinical outcomes, the company is entering a phase of aggressive national growth — and is now hiring a Head of Commercial to lead go-to-market execution across employer, payer (health plan), and provider channels.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a commercially-minded executive who’s passionate about expanding access to evidence-based mental health care at scale.

The Opportunity

As Head of Commercial, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning the full GTM strategy and execution across employers, payers, and health systems.
  • Building and closing strategic partnerships with large self-insured employers, regional/national health plans, and provider networks.
  • Hiring and scaling the commercial team (sales, business development, and customer success).
  • Developing pricing, contracting, and reimbursement models aligned with the needs of each customer segment.
  • Engaging C-suite stakeholders to position the platform as a strategic solution for mental health and care navigation.
  • Driving commercial KPIs (ARR, retention, activation) and reporting directly to the executive leadership team.
  • Aligning closely with product, marketing, and clinical teams to ensure market-fit and partner success.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of commercial experience in digital health, behavioral health, or healthcare services.
  • Proven success selling into at least two of the following: payers, employers, or provider groups.
  • Strong understanding of value-based care models, behavioral health benefit design, and digital therapeutics.
  • Track record of leading and closing 6–7 figure deals with national stakeholders.
  • Experience building and scaling GTM teams in high-growth, mission-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  • Passion for expanding access to high-quality mental health care through technology.
