Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment seeks a Tour Marketing Director – Comedy to lead the marketing strategy and execution for assigned comedy tours and shows, collaborating with artists, venues, media partners and local marketers to drive awareness and ticket sales.

You will oversee campaigns from planning to execution, combining paid media, promotions, publicity, social and grassroots efforts while managing multiple tour budgets and tailoring campaigns to each artist, show, and market.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or 4 years experience in marketing/public relations/project management in lieu of a degree.
• Entertainment/Concert industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing strategy and execution for comedy tours and shows, partnering with artists and teams.
• Oversee campaigns from planning through execution, managing diverse budgets and payers.
• Oversee marketing, promotions and public relations for touring comedians.
• Create, develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans for shows and tours.
• Negotiate print, online, radio and TV buys.
• Develop contesting and incentives with media and partners.
• Spearhead grassroots campaigns including street teams.
• Conduct market research to optimize show marketing.
• Coordinate with venue box office for on-sales and audits.
• Create social media campaigns and manage accounts.
