Job summary

Funderz Group, a fast-growing financial services firm in the United States, seeks a Head of Collections to design and lead a scalable, data-driven collections operation.

TheHead of Collections will build and develop the team, redesign workflows, implement KPIs, and partner with underwriting, legal, and finance to improve recoveries and overall portfolio performance.

This in-person leadership role requires ownership from day one to drive measurable results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of collections experience with leadership exposure.
• Experience building or transforming a collections team.
• Proven ability to design and implement processes, workflows, and performance systems.
• Track record of improving recoveries and reducing losses.
• Strong recruitment, training, and coaching skills.
• Excellent negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a high-performing collections team.
• Onboard, train, and develop collections staff.
• Redesign end-to-end collections workflows and strategies.
• Establish KPIs, scorecards, and accountability.
• Improve portfolio performance and recoveries.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Partner with underwriting, legal, finance and leadership.
