Job summary

The company is seeking a seasoned Manager, Applied AI Engineering (Codex) to lead a team that drives Codex adoption across strategic customers in a hybrid San Francisco setting. You’ll shape engagement models, coach engineers, and translate complex needs into scalable AI-enabled workflows.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Research to deliver impactful outcomes, establish repeatable patterns, and guide high-impact customer implementations with hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in deeply technical, customer-facing roles such as applied engineering, solutions architecture, deployment engineering, or technical consulting.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model and technical engagement strategy for Codex Applied AI Engineering across strategic accounts.
• Guide teams in designing and implementing AI-enhanced development workflows and scalable architectures.
• Act as senior escalation point and thought partner for complex customer implementations and engineering challenges.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Research, and Engineering to align outcomes with product direction.
