Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a Department Manager to lead the Charlotte Construction Materials Testing Services Department. The senior leader will oversee field and laboratory operations, staff development, project delivery, financial results, and client service while partnering with the Branch Manager to grow the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; PE license preferred/required.
• PE license and 8+ years in construction materials testing or related field.
• Experience leading field testing, lab operations, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead BLE's Construction Materials Testing Department in Charlotte.
• Oversee field and laboratory operations, staffing, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, and DOT standards.
• Manage QA/QC, proposals, testing reports, and risk management.
• Develop personnel, certifications, and training programs.
• Support business development and client relations for growth.
