Gee Automotive Companies in Milwaukie, Oregon is seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager of Centralized Accounting to lead our centralized accounting operations across multiple dealerships. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive standardization, scalability, and process improvements while building high-performing teams.

The position oversees the centralized month-end close, internal controls, and regulatory reporting, and collaborates with external auditors and tax

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive dealership accounting operations and internal controls.
• Proven experience leading multi-store close processes and financial reporting.
• Experience establishing accounting policies and process improvements.
• CPA preferred or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the centralized accounting team across multiple dealerships.
• Maintain accounting processes, policies, and internal controls across stores.
• Oversee month-end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor reconciliations, aging schedules, and critical balance sheet accounts.
• Partner with Controllers, General Managers, and senior leadership to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Drive standardization, automation, and efficiency across accounting functions.
• Support integration of newly acquired dealerships and regulatory/tax reporting.
