The position will oversee general ledger activities, advise departments on coding, and support the development of financial reports while maintaining audit-ready records. Training on dealership systems will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and dealership accounting practices.
• Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Experience with Microsoft applications; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control the general ledger; review and post journal entries; monitor financial data; advise departments on coding.
• Evaluate internal controls; provide recommendations to improve compliance, transparency, and efficiency.
• Assist in developing financial reports.
• Collaborate across departments to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed accounting records to ensure audit readiness and accuracy of the general ledger.
• Supervise in-store clerical staff; support management.
