Job summary

WHEDA in Madison, WI seeks a Business Applications Manager to lead core business applications, drive roadmaps, and oversee lifecycle management including home-grown software. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure systems enable efficient operations across the agency.

You will mentor staff, handle budgeting for technology procurements, and collaborate with Finance to prioritize projects and deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS/IS and 5 years of progressively responsible experience including 2 years of supervisory experience
• Valid Driver’s License Required
• Experience leading IT applications and software lifecycle management

Responsibilities

• Own strategic systems landscape for internal and external applications and their integrations within the Business Applications team.
• Guides the Authority on software strategy, design and processes to drive operational effectiveness; manages all applications.
• Perform supervisory duties including hiring, training, performance evaluations and corrective action.
• Drive continuous improvement via system and process enhancements; create and maintain roadmaps for high-impact systems.
• Collaborates with all business units to meet system enhancements, production support, testing, and reporting needs.
