Job summary

Temporal is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the Builder Platform and Architect the Agent Platform and AI infrastructure. You'll translate company strategy into an executable platform roadmap, partner with Security, Legal, and IT, and drive adoption of standardized, governed tooling across multiple engineering teams.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience setting technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Set a multi-year technical vision for the Builder Platform across Actors, Workflows, AI Infrastructure, and Productivity Engineering.
• Architect and evolve the Agent Platform and developer tools including CI/CD and repository standards.
• Define governance for AI, security, and cost controls with measurable SLOs.
• Lead senior technical leaders and align engineering managers with product strategy.
