International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Director and Head of Biostatistics to lead our global biostatistics function across vaccine development programs.

You will set strategic direction, ensure rigorous statistical methodologies, and guide study design, analyses, and regulatory interactions. You will oversee vendor relationships, drive quality improvements, and mentor talent while partnering with cross-functional teams to advance our product development

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related discipline is required.
• Ph.D. is desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in clinical Biostatistics within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, vaccine, or related life sciences settings required.
• Minimum 5 years of people management, functional leadership, matrix leadership, and/or vendor oversight experience required.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Biostatistics leadership: set direction, standards, and SOPs for Biostatistics across studies and programs.
• Study and program-level statistical leadership: input into design, endpoints, sample size, analyses, and interpretation.
• Review of protocols, SAPs, study reports, CRFs, and regulatory documents.
• Vendor oversight: manage Biostatistics vendors, budgets, timelines, and quality.
