Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Director of Biostatistics Project Lead in the Waltham area to provide scientific leadership and oversee statistical aspects of vaccine projects. The role includes mentoring global teams across US/France/China/India, ensuring quality and regulatory alignment, and optimizing resource use.

You will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional groups to set standards, influence study design, and drive high-impact submissions in clinical development and post-marketing

Qualifications

• PhD/MS in statistics or related discipline with at least 8 years of pharmaceutical experience.
• Demonstrated strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Broad knowledge and good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques.
• Proven experience in clinical development or post-marketing activities such as submissions, regulatory interactions.
• Experience in the relevant therapeutic area desired.
• Ability to represent Sanofi in cross-company activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead large vaccine project(s) across development stages, ensuring statistical leadership.
• Direct biostatistical contributions and scientific validity for plans, studies and submissions.
• Mentor and lead global Biostatistical and Scientific Programming teams across multiple regions.
• Plan and track activities, timelines and resources; optimize capacity and efficiency.
• Foster collaborations with other functions and communicate with senior leadership.
• Represent biostatistics in cross-functional groups and contribute to standards.
