Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Manager, Statistics to provide statistical leadership across biostatistics and regulatory support for late-stage programs. You will design, analyze, and report studies, develop analysis plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust data interpretation for immunology projects.

You will guide statistical strategy, work with data science and clinical teams, and contribute to dissemination of findings through publications and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• MS (with 8+ years) or PhD (with 4+ years) in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
• Late phase clinical development in Immunology is preferred.
• Strong technical competence and communication skills (oral & written).
• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical leadership for design, analysis and reporting of clinical or scientific programs.
• Develop protocols and analysis plans; implement statistical methodologies for investigations.
• Lead in data collection instrument identification and analysis dataset preparation.
• Collaborate with Data Science to ensure high-quality outputs on timelines.
• Interpret results and contribute to publications and presentations.
• Explain statistical concepts to non-statisticians and support cross-functional teams.
