True Talent Solutions Partners in New York is seeking a senior attorney to lead and grow its bankruptcy and restructuring practice. You will advise investment funds, handle in-court and out-of-court matters, and mentor a junior associate while expanding the client base.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, a portable practice generating $1M–$1.5M annually, and a NY JD/Bar. Hybrid work with about three days in the office.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of bankruptcy and restructuring experience
• Portable practice generating approx. $1M–$1.5M in annual collections
• Experience in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings
• Proven originator and manager of client relationships
• Experience advising investment funds on debt issues involving portfolio companies
• New York bar admission and JD from an accredited law school; large-firm experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Lead the bankruptcy and restructuring practice as senior department head
• Advise funds on debt restructurings and workouts for troubled portfolio companies
• Handle in-court bankruptcy matters and out-of-court restructurings
• Manage approximately 300–400 hours annually of firm-generated bankruptcy work
• Mentor and direct a junior associate with bankruptcy experience
• Grow the practice and collaborate with attorneys serving existing clients
