Job summary

Our client, a global law firm, seeks associates to join its Insolvency & Restructuring practice at its New York City midtown office in a hybrid setting. The role requires 2–4 years of restructuring experience, NY Bar admission, JD from an accredited law school, and experience with Chapter 11 matters and cross-border restructurings. Deposition/trial prep is a plus.

Salary ranges from $235,000 to $310,000 plus bonus; a full benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Represent debtors, ad hoc committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents in Chapter 11 proceedings and restructurings.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm in high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus.
