Audible, the leading producer and provider of audio storytelling, seeks a Director, Content Acquisition & Development (North America) to manage end-to-end deal generation with authors, agents, publishers, and IP brands. You will structure and negotiate high‑volume deals, grow relationships with partners, and work with Editorial, Marketing, and Legal teams to align on strategy, terms, and release plans.

This role requires a proven negotiator with 5+ years in publishing, audio, or entertainment

Formación

• 5+ years of publishing, audio, or entertainment industry deal negotiation experience.
• Experience negotiating complex agreements with a firm understanding of legal terminology and reasoning.
• Experience in the traditional book space with content acquisition and/or rights licensing across popular genres.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare projects for internal support with data, budgets, P&Ls, and proposed terms.
• Structure and negotiate deals with authors, agents, publishers and other content creators.
• Grow and maintain relationships with authors, agents, managers, and publishers.
• Manage high-volume deal flow against specific metrics.
• Track and communicate deal terms within the organization and enforce terms when necessary.
• Collaborate with Editorial/Creative, Marketing, PR, Content Services, and Content Creation.
