Job summary

Altruist in Dallas seeks a Manager, Transfer of Assets to own the ACATS and non-ACAT transfer lifecycle end-to-end. Lead a high-performing team and collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance to optimize operations.

You will monitor metrics, drive process improvements, and implement AI tooling to enhance efficiency and accuracy in transfer processing. This role offers strong growth within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on in account transfers at a self-clearing broker-dealer, clearing firm, or custodian.
• 1+ years managing people with a track record of growth.
• Proven ability to build a positive, high-trust team culture in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of FINRA Rule 11870 and NSCC rules.
• Proven record of process improvement and risk controls.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets in Excel/Google Sheets.
• FINRA Series 7 or 99, with willingness to obtain Series 24.

Responsibilities

• Own the account transfer lifecycle for ACAT, DRS, DWAC, and non-ACAT transfers, including initiation and settlement.
• Lead, coach, develop, and hire top talent, fostering a team culture of transparency and shared expertise.
• Monitor metrics such as productivity, quality, straight-through processing, rejection rates, SLAs, and processing times for workforce management.
• Drive operations innovation and process improvements through procedure changes and AI tooling.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape the transfer roadmap and validate releases.
• Develop and maintain transfer policies and procedures, and serve as the operational point of contact for internal audit, compliance, and regulatory examinations.
