Job summary

gategroup in the United States, New York, Inwood is seeking an Assembly Leader with strong people management and operational excellence focus. You will lead three Assembly areas, drive Lean improvements, labour planning, HACCP compliance, and cross-functional cooperation with Supply Chain and HR to optimize productivity and service levels for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading a middle-management layer and a large team.
• Strong coaching, engagement, feedback and performance-management skills.
• Knowledge of Lean, CI, and HACCP standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain leadership of three Assembly areas: Wash & Pack; Make & Pack; Pick & Pack.
• Structure and optimize work stations and floor maps.
• Labour planning short, medium and long term with Supply Chain.
• Ensure QA, HACCP and customer specifications compliance.
• Develop Assembly leadership team through coaching and feedback.
