Job summary

Pkaza Data Center Recruiting seeks a Manager, Applications Engineering to lead the Applications Engineering team for data center cooling solutions in Ashburn. You will guide equipment selections, performance data, submittals, and proposals across air- and liquid-cooling portfolios, interfacing with Sales, reps, customers, and engineering teams.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong HVAC expertise, people management, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in applications, sales, or systems engineering in HVAC/thermal equipment.
• 5+ years as a Design Manager.
• Experience with chillers, heat rejection, liquid cooling, CDUs, CRAH/FanWall.
• Ability to lead and develop a technical team.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and monthly site visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Applications Engineering team and growth plans.
• Ensure accurate, timely equipment selections, sizing, and proposals.
• Provide technical guidance to Sales and channel partners across opportunities.
• Standardize processes and improve tools and templates across the team.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
