Job summary

Pacific Life seeks a VP, Inforce Management - Annuity to lead Inforce performance across Variable Annuity, RILA, FIA, MYGA, and payout products. Telemetry includes earnings drivers, fee dynamics, and risk management, with a focus on executive storytelling and strategic decision support.

Based in the Omaha/Nor Newport Beach/Charlotte area with a hybrid schedule and relocation assistance. Travel up to 3-4 times/year. Requires extensive actuarial leadership and strong business acumen.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive actuarial experience within the life insurance industry.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) strongly preferred; ASA with leadership experience may be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or advanced business degree preferred but not required.
• Executive-level communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Deep understanding of Annuity products, how they are sold, illustrated, and managed Inforce.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial and risk narrative for Annuity Inforce blocks across product lines.
• Lead Inforce earnings analysis, projections, and sensitivity analyses.
• Translate outputs into executive-ready insights and actions.
• Chair committees and advise on pricing actions, hedging, and capital deployment.
• Develop talent and elevate strategic discussions with senior leadership.
