Job summary

The Enoch Pratt Free Library seeks a Director of Individual Giving & Corporate Relations to grow philanthropic support from individuals and corporations.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Institutional Advancement, this position will play a central role in strengthening the Library’s annual fund, managing a portfolio of donors, developing corporate partnerships, and advancing key fundraising events and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5 years in individual giving, annual giving, corporate relations, development, or nonprofit fundraising.
• Experience cultivating and soliciting individual donors and/or corporate partners.
• Experience developing annual fund appeals across direct mail and digital channels.
• Strong donor relationship-building with volunteers, trustees, and corporate partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Library’s annual fund strategy including mailed and online appeals.
• Manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospects through meetings, solicitations, and stewardship.
• Identify opportunities to increase donor retention and giving to strengthen the pipeline of annual fund donors.
• Cultivate corporate relationships, including event sponsorships and partnerships.
• Lead corporate sponsorships for major events and steward the engagement of supporters.
