Job summary

HubSpot is seeking a Manager, Analytics Engineering, Data & AI Foundations to lead Analytics Engineers responsible for shared data foundations, platform capabilities, and AI-enabled workflows. You’ll partner with analytics managers, analysts, and platform teams to translate feedback into a clear strategy and prioritized roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Analytics Engineers or similar data professionals, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Ability to define a vision and translate it into a practical strategy, roadmap and operating model.
• Strong understanding of analysts’ workflows and shared data assets, tooling, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Analytics Engineers, supporting career growth and prioritizing high-impact work.
• Set the team vision, operating model, and measurable roadmap for success.
• Partner with managers to improve composable agents, semantic models, and shared data assets.
• Collaborate with analysts and analytics committees using shared assets or teams’ own agents.
• Review architecture, establish scalable standards, and ensure robust, reusable solutions.
• Prioritize cross-functional initiatives with clear objectives and resource planning.
• Partner with AI readiness teams to deploy resources to top priorities and remove blockers.
• Own core platform assets and analytics tooling to raise the floor for engineers.
• Advance composable agentic delivery and AI-assisted workflows across the org.
• Guide semantic models and metric layers as trusted foundations for analytics and AI.
• Establish standards for data modeling, testing, review, observability, reliability, and cost.
