Job summary

AT&T Inc. is seeking an Assoc Director-Technology II in Alpharetta. This role leads multidisciplinary teams across BI, analytics, data science, and AI-enabled solutions.

You will partner with platform teams to deliver trusted analytics and decision-support experiences focused on infrastructure, cloud, and reliability. The position requires strong leadership, product orientation, and the ability to translate complex technical problems into actionable analytics for executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, data science, software engineering, BI, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of modern analytics, BI, visualization, and data-driven UX design.
• Knowledge of applied data science methods (forecasting, anomaly detection, pattern ID).
• Understanding of AI and generative AI for analytics and user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams spanning BI, analytics, data science, AI-enabled solutions, and front-end/product engineering.
• Partner with data/platform engineering to transform governed data into trusted insights and experiences.
• Own strategy and delivery of analytical products and decision-support experiences for infrastructure and cloud.
• Translate complex infrastructure questions into meaningful analytics and product capabilities.
• Lead dashboards and analytical applications for executives and technical users.
• Drive adoption of AI and advanced analytics to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Set priorities, roadmaps, and talent development fostering curiosity and technical excellence.
