Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to own and drive the end-to-end data and analytics function for BI, data governance, platforms, and insights delivery across critical contracts.

You will lead software engineers, architects, and analysts to ensure data is trusted, secure, and leveraged to accelerate high-quality decision-making. Partner with senior technology and operations leaders to align initiatives and run the business operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics, data management, data engineering or BI with leadership.
• Experience with 340B, pharmacy, manufacturer or wholesaler is preferred.
• Strong technical foundation in data analytics, cloud-based architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience managing enterprise data assets in healthcare.
• Experience applying agile methodologies in high-availability environments.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency writing queries in SQL Server or Oracle.

• Lead a high performing analytics team to deliver data-driven insights.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the BI and analytics functions.
• Attract, develop and retain skilled team members.
• Advise leadership on strategic analytics questions.
• Define processes governing analytics empowerment of the business unit.
• Ensure data integrity and optimize staff operations.
• Drive process improvements and governance in analytics initiatives.
• Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders on tech questions.
• Collaborate on analytics vision, strategy, roadmaps and execution.
