Job summary

UBS is seeking a senior individual to lead Alternative Investments operations in New Jersey. The role focuses on front-to-back service delivery, process improvement, and risk management within a fast-paced environment.

You will drive strategic changes, implement best practices, and oversee transaction capture for high-priority fund relationships while collaborating with senior leaders and partners across technology and operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of applicable work experience.
• Track record of process improvement or similar.
• Strong experience in Process Improvement or Alternative Investments; both a plus.
• Recognize and effectively manage risk.
• Execute detail-oriented tasks precisely and efficiently.
• Prioritize multiple issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understand trading processes and related systems.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Curious about applying AI to improve workflows with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-to-back service delivery and transaction capture for high-priority fund relationships.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and onboard third-party solutions to automate legacy processes.
• Evaluate and enhance risk management procedures for continuous improvement.
• Chair daily operational calls across Alternative Investments business, technology, and operations to keep risk in check and clients satisfied.
• Manage daily tasks: capture key events (Capital Calls, Redemptions, NAV pricing); supervise Fee Processing, Balancing, and Transaction Capture; review Ledgers, Events, and Trades.
