EVONA is seeking a Head of Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) to lead a multidisciplinary technical team in a growing space technology company. The role requires strong people leadership, a hands-on approach, and the ability to drive changes across assembly, integration, and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Significant people management experience in a technical or operational environment.
• Experience in assembly, integration, or test.
• Strong stakeholder management and consensus-building skills.
• Experience managing managers or developing leadership capability.
• Track record of implementing change and improving processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and hands-on approach.
• Background in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Experience in space or broader aerospace industry.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary technical team, including experience of leading leadership profiles.
• Oversee assembly, integration and test activities.
• Drive operational improvements and establish effective processes.
• Build strong relationships across engineering, production, programme management, and supply chain.
• Manage competing priorities and gain stakeholder buy-in for change.
• Identify challenges, develop practical solutions, and drive them through to completion.
• Work closely with senior leadership to support organisational growth.
