Job summary

Loft Federal, in Colorado, seeks an Assembly Integration & Test Engineer to build, integrate, test, and verify payloads on satellites, ensuring readiness for launch. You’ll work with multiple teams to solve complex problems and document results.

You’ll perform environmental tests including vibration, TVAC, and EMI, write procedures, and participate in campaigns from concept to flight. A strong aerospace testing background is essential.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required and DoD clearance or eligibility.
• 5+ years in a testing role; 3+ years with a graduate degree in aerospace.
• Experience writing, performing, and documenting tests.
• Environmental testing experience: vibration, TVAC, EMI, radiation.
• Ability to organize test campaigns from concept to completion.
• Familiar with aerospace testing standards (GEVS, etc.).
• Experience using Python to test and analyze results.
• Designing or building harnesses for flight or test.
• Setting up GSE for testing; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on role taking satellites from test bench to launch pad.
• Electrical and mechanical integration of payloads onto satellites.
• Conduct environmental testing at box and system levels (vibration, TVAC, EMI).
• Author and execute detailed test procedures; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, systems, PMs, software, and product teams.
