Harvey, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to help build Harvey Labs, our AI research organization.

You’ll partner with our Chief Research Officer and technical leadership to attract exceptional AI talent across data, evaluations, infrastructure, and modeling. This hands-on role requires 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting in fast‑growing environments, a data‑driven approach, and the ability to shape searches in ambiguity while guiding leaders on talent strategy and compensation

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience recruiting for technical AI research teams or similar roles.
• Strong ability to understand complex technical domains and evaluate candidates.
• Exceptional sourcer with experience across labs, startups, academia, and open source.
• Creative, white-glove engagement to close exceptional talent.
• Trusted advisor to technical leaders and credible with candidates.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and shaping searches as profiles evolve.
• Data-driven, highly organized, and able to manage multiple searches without sacrificing candidate experience.
• High ownership, low ego, and proactive collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Chief Research Officer and Harvey Labs leadership to translate priorities into recruiting strategies.
• Own full-cycle recruiting across AI/ML, research, and engineering roles.
• Build talent maps across leading AI companies, labs, startups, academia, and open source.
• Develop sourcing and engagement strategies to attract top talent at all levels.
• Define new profiles and evolve search strategies based on market insights.
• Advise leadership on talent availability, compensation, and candidate motivations.
• Drive searches from market mapping through offer strategy and close.
• Use data and market intelligence to continuously improve recruiting strategy.
• Help build scalable recruiting processes across Harvey.
