Job summary

Nightfall is hiring a VP of Marketing to own the category and lead a full-stack marketing function at a well-funded Series B company. You will report to the CEO, set the marketing vision, and build demand gen, field, product marketing, brand, and PR in one seat.

You will drive a data-driven marketing engine with AI-native practices, align with sales for revenue growth, and scale the function as Nightfall expands in the AI security space.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role owning a marketing function
• Proven track record of building and scaling a marketing engine at a growth-stage company
• Deep experience in demand generation and pipeline ownership with revenue accountability
• Strong field marketing experience to drive measurable pipeline
• Experience owning product marketing, positioning, and sales enablement
• Hands-on budgeting with ROI-driven allocation and vendor management
• Experience owning a company website as a marketing and conversion asset
• PR and analyst relations experience with agency management and analyst briefings
• Proficiency with AI tools across marketing workflows
• Background in cybersecurity or data security is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead overall marketing strategy and roadmap from branding to integrated campaigns
• Own demand generation and pipeline growth in collaboration with sales leadership
• Build and operate field marketing events and partner programs to drive pipeline
• Own product marketing including competitive positioning and sales enablement
• Shape brand and narrative to resonate with CISOs and enterprise buyers
• Manage website and conversion optimization with a focus on demos
• Lead PR and analyst relations and manage external communications
• Embed AI-native practices across research, content, campaigns and reporting
• Own the full marketing budget with ROI tracking and accountability
• Develop and mentor a high-performing marketing team
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and CS to align GTM with revenue goals
