Nightfall AI seeks a VP of Finance to lead the finance function, drive strategic planning, and enable scalable growth. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to steer capital allocation, FP&A, and investor relations in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on building robust financial processes, budgeting, forecasting, and fundraising while mentoring a high-performing team in an AI-native SaaS company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in SaaS startups.
• Experience as VP/CFO in a fast-paced, venture-backed environment.
• Deep understanding of SaaS and subscription models, metrics, and AI-native dynamics.
• Proven fundraising, investor relations, and financial due diligence experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Own long-term financial planning and modeling to guide strategy.
• Partner with CEO and leadership on decision making and resource allocation.
• Drive fundraising efforts and manage investor updates and board reporting.
• Develop controls, processes, and tools for a high-growth SaaS company.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and treasury.
• Manage and grow the finance team with a culture of accountability.
• Define and track SaaS/AI metrics with GTM, Product, and R&D leaders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
