Job summary

Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Director of Commercial Enablement to lead the Sales Enablement function across the CAS solution portfolio, including AI-enabled offerings. This is a leadership role with 3–4 direct reports, budget responsibility, and a move toward value-based, outcome-focused enablement.

You will build curriculum for Claude-based workflows, partner with Product and RevOps, and elevate adoption through change-management metrics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales enablement or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in science, business, or related field
• 3+ years direct sales experience in scientific/technical markets

Responsibilities

• Lead enablement roadmap across full CAS portfolio and AI capabilities
• Build and scale Challenger-selling training for Sales and Customer Success
• Develop curricula for Claude-based workflows and AI-enabled processes
• Partner with IT, Product, and RevOps to measure adoption and outcomes
