Job summary

Humana Inc invites applications for Associate Vice President, Model & AI Governance, an enterprise leader responsible for the framework of model governance, AI risk management, Responsible AI and governance across the organization.

The role partners with executive leadership, technology, data, clinical and compliance teams to ensure AI risks are identified, governed, monitored, and reported with independence from development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required plus 15+ years of progressive experience in risk management, model risk management, AI governance, technology risk, data governance, analytics, compliance, internal audit or related disciplines.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide model governance and AI governance programs, with ability to operate at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously enhance the enterprise model governance framework including risk tiering, development, validation, implementation and monitoring.
• Develop and oversee Responsible AI framework and principles across the organization.
• Lead governance committees and provide regular reporting to executive management and risk committees.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Data Governance and Technology Risk to address AI-specific risks.
