Job summary

Beacon Software seeks a senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own the end-to-end deployment of AI-enabled platform solutions within portco workflows. You will lead capacity allocation across pods, shape the platform's playbooks, and ensure measurable business outcomes.

You will work as a player-coach with senior generalists in Toronto and SF, shipping high-impact deployments while maintaining clear, public decisions and documentation for transparency.

Qualifications

• Built and led forward-deployed, solutions, or embedded engineering functions for AI/data platform products.
• Shifted teams from isolated goals to a shared backlog with a platform-centric approach.
• Experience with production AI/ML systems, evals, and outcome tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own the intake for field patterns and identify shared primitives to ship across portcos.
• Allocate capacity across pods with product leaders to optimize portfolio delivery.
• Ensure deployments align with business outcomes and document the wedge memos and retro.
• Lead senior generalists in Toronto and SF and mentor others.
