Job summary

Gemini is seeking a Lead, Technical Compliance to modernize the Compliance program using AI and automation. You will work with senior management to design scalable, auditable workflows, monitor data ingestion, and develop risk scoring models. The role requires building reporting solutions and partnering with multiple departments.

The position emphasizes governance, testing, and human oversight while driving the enterprise AML/BSA efforts in a hybrid US environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or international equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience with compliance technology and data analysis.
• Advanced skills with Python and SQL are a must.
• Experience in Databricks and PySpark is good to have.
• Experience designing, developing, or implementing AI-enabled automation or related tech.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled automation and agentic AI workflows across the Compliance Program.
• Develop and tune transaction monitoring scenarios and data ingestion pipelines.
• Maintain and enhance customer risk scoring models.
• Strengthen sanctions controls and screening thresholds.
• Build real-time data and reporting solutions using Python or SQL.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, Legal and Security teams.
• Establish governance and controls for AI-enabled solutions.
