Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in people management.
• Led engineering at a startup/growth-stage through AI adoption with measurable results.
• Built and shipped production software using AI coding agents.
• Designed a multi-service cloud-hosted system with integrations.
• Established a modern CI/CD and testing regime; incident response experience.
• Experience with HIPAA, SOC 2 controls or plans for PHI handling and access control.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical direction for all digital products and platform roadmap.
• Lead AI-native engineering practices and establish trustworthy agent harnesses.
• Measure delivery metrics and report AI impact on performance and cost.
• Partner with Data Science to ship predictive models safely into workflows.
• Mentor engineers, manage performance, and shape career paths.
• Collaborate with Product, IT, Operations, and Finance to translate priorities into plans.
